The White House Office of Management and Budget on Friday, May 15th, officially completed its review of the rule for the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program, and an announcement of the rule is expected this week as early as Tuesday, May 19th. The rule will provide direct payments to farmers who've seen markets negatively impacted as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
