Dr. Bob Stark, a top agricultural economist in Arkansas, recently announced his plans to retire from his post on June 30. For nearly 25 years he's been teaching agriculture business and policy at the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM). At UAM, his teaching responsibilities at the College of Forestry, Agriculture and Natural Resources have spanned fourteen separate courses, including farm management, commodity marketing, contract marketing and futures trading, and agricultural policy site-specific farm management. He's also provided research and extension services for Arkansas corn and soybean farmers.
