The University of Arkansas (UofA) Division of Agriculture has made its annual Rice Field Day available online. The field day was first held in a virtual setting on August 20th. The field day includes an overview of research activities of the University as it relates to rice. Much of the research is provided with grower check-off funds and approved by the Rice Research and Promotion Board. Research is focused on variety development, fertility and irrigation management, weed and disease control, and the rice research verification program, just to name a few.
