On Monday, September 21, the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) issued an updated Crop Progress and Condition Report. According to the report, Arkansas crops are in pretty good condition with a majority of most commodities in good to excellent condition. Corn and rice lead the way when it comes to harvest, but Arkansas is well behind its five year average for most commodities.
