We encourage all Arkansans to exercise their right to vote, and we encourage everyone to support candidates who are strong champions and supporters of Arkansas agriculture, our state's leading economic engine.
There are many important elections that will impact our industry, but none may be as consequential as the U.S. Senate race where Senator Boozman, a proven champion for agriculture and the Republican leader of the Senate Agriculture Committee, is up for re-election. If re-elected, Boozman will certainly have a lead role in the development of the farm bill, which is scheduled for reauthorization in 2023. It's anticipated that he would become chairman of the committee if Republicans gain the majority in the U.S. Senate. That would place him as lead author of the legislation.
...and get your friends, neighbors, and associates to do the same.
