On Monday, November 9th, the USDA National Agriculture Statistics Service (NASS) issued an updated Crop Progress and Condition Report. According to the report, harvest is near completion in Arkansas and remains slightly behind its five year average for most crops. Remaining crops include corn, soybeans, cotton, rice and peanuts. Winter wheat is 71 percent planted.
