New Government Climate Report Predicts Significant Sea Level Increases by 2050

A recently released federal government interagency report, known as the Sea Level Rise Technical Report, provided sea level rise projections that indicate American coasts will see another 10 to 12 inches of sea level rise by 2050 as a result of a changing climate and global warming. The report was developed by eight federal agencies, including National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA), and the Department of Defense (DOD).
