On November 1, Corteva Agriscience announced it had hired Chuck Magro to serve as Chief Executive Officer replacing Jim Collins who is retiring. Magro, an experienced CEO in the agriculture and food industry previously served as CEO of Nutrien and Agrium, which is now owned by Nutrien along with PotashCorp. Corteva, a spin out from the Dow and DuPont merger in 2019, is a leading seed and crop protection company based in Johnston, Iowa.
