Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has indicated that an additional COVID-19 aid package would be negotiated between the Senate and the White House, and additional funding for the USDA Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) would be included to provide additional direct aid to U.S. farmers. The legislation is expected to come to light in late June or early July.
