A new lawsuit was recently filed by the American Soybean Association and the Plains Cotton Growers Association against the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) over the recent re-registration of dicamba for over the top use. The suit claims that the new restrictions incorporated into the registation label, including the requirements for buffers and the cutoff dates. While complimentary of the decision to continue to allow for in crop use, the plaintiffs claim that the new registration is excessive.
