On Tuesday, July 12, USDA issued updated Crop Production reports as well as a new World Agriculture Supply and Demand Estimate (WASDE) report. The latest WASDE report showed increased corn acres and decreased soybean acres from the June report. The WASDE also indicated production issues in certain parts of the country due to drought, particularly with cotton and rice.
