Indigo Agriculture and Anheuser Busch recently announced joint accomplishments in providing sustainability improvements in rice production by meeting and exceeding various targets related to water use, nitrogen, and greenhouse gas emissions. The announcement was a joint announcement between the two companies who've partnered in an effort to source rice produced through a sustainability program that attempts to measure and quantify environmental metrics and improve upon those metrics year over year. Anheuser-Busch mills approximately 2.6 million pounds of rice a day at its facility in Jonesboro.
