On July 11th, leaders on the House Agriculture Committee announced the launch of a new online portal for public comments related to the farm bill. The effort by Chairman David Scott (D-GA) and Ranking Member GT Thompson (R-PA) is aimed at providing easy access for stakeholders to communicate ideas and comments related to the upcoming farm bill, which is scheduled for reauthorization in 2023. The committee continues to hold hearings and listening sessions covering each title of the current law.
