On Tuesday, March 1, the U.S. House Agriculture Committee held a hearing to focus on the commodity title of the farm bill. The hearing was the second hearing related to the farm bill held this year. Witnesses included two Arkansas farmers, Brad Doyle and Jennifer James, both of whom are Ag Council of Arkansas members. Brad was representing soybean producers as President of the American Soybean Association while Jennifer was representing rice growers on behalf of USA Rice.
