The EPA recently announced that new interim registration decisions for 13 pyrethroid insecticides and one herbicide, paraquat. While the decisions are interim, they are considered to represent a signficant step forward in establishing future access to the chemistries. The interim registrations did carry new restrictions on the sale, storage, and use of the chemistries.
