On Thursday, September 30th, Congress approved a Continuing Resolution that continues funding for the federal goverment through December 3rd. As part of the package, Congress included a $10 billion extension of agriculture related disaster assistance through the WHIP+ program. This program will provide assistance to cover crop losses and crops prevented from planting in the 2020 and 2021 crop years. Additional program details and sign-up information will be available through USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA).
