Boozman Calls on Biden to Address Rising Input Costs

On Tuesday, March 15th, Senator John Boozman (R-AR), the ranking member on the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Forestry, and Nutrition sent a letter urging President Biden to take action to address rising input costs facing farmers, particularly fertilizer. While the USDA announced $250 million to aid in the production of fertilizer, they've not offered any direct support to farmers facing record high input costs for fertilizers and other crop inputs due to supply chain disruptions and Russia's war against Ukraine.
