President Joe Biden has nominated Robert Bonnie to serve as USDA Undersecretary for Farm Production and Conservation. If confirmed by the Senate for the post, Bonnie will oversee the Farm Service Agency (FSA), the Risk Management Agency (RMA), and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). Bonnie, who is currently serving as Secretary Vilsack's chief climate advisor, will also have responsibilities over all things related to the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC). Bonnie is not new to the USDA having worked there previously under President Obama.
