On Friday, April 8th, USDA released an updated World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report. The monthly report provides annual forecasts for supply and use of U.S. and world wheat, rice, coarse grains, oilseeds, cotton, and other major agricultural commodities. The latest report attempts to account for some impacts from the ongoing Russian war against Ukraine, which has caused significant disruption in many areas of row crop agriculture.
