On Wednesday, July 1st, the U.S., Mexico, Canada Free Trade Agreement (USMCA) officially went into force. The rewrIte of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) was completed in 2019 and recently put into law among the three nations. The agreement was hailed as a victory for U.S. agriculture as it kept open and expanded export market opportunities for American farmers.
