USDA's March 31 Rice Stocks Report showed a decline in rice stocks from 2021. According to the report, Arkansas rough rice stocks in all positions on March 1, 2022, totaled 48.8 million hundredweight (cwt), down 5 percent from March 1, 2021. Stocks held on farms totaled 9.80 million cwt, down 18 percent from last year. Off farm stocks totaled 39.0 million cwt, down 1 percent. Corn stocks in Arkansas were estimated to be up 7 percent from 2021. The U.S. stocks report showed soybean stocks up 24 percent from 2021.
