On June 30th, USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) issued updated acreage and stocks reports. According to the report for Arkansas, corn acres were down 16 percent from 2021, cotton acres were up 4 percent, soybean acreage was up 5 percent, and rice acreage was down 5 percent. Nationally, corn acreage was down four percent, soybean acreage was up 1 percent, and cotton acreage was up 11 percent.
