UofA Webinar Series on Sustainability in Agriculture Starts November 17

The University of Arkansas System's Division of Agriculture is co-hosting with USDA NRCS a "virtual field trip" webinar on agriculture sustainability on Tuesday, November 17th. The free one-hour, interactive program will start a five-part series on agricultural sustainability. The program on November 17th will cover the supply chain from a farmer’s field to the shelves at your local retail center. In part one, we will explain what sustainability looks like in the world of agriculture and how continuous improvement is being addressed along the supply chain including what retailers now want from agriculture producers. The program will also examine how the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture is providing research and education through its Center for Agricultural and Rural Sustainability and why sustainability is important to Arkansas producers.

One hour of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available for CCA (Certified Crop Advisors). Each CCA should register and watch using the webinar link sent in their Zoom instructions to earn their CEU.
