U.S. Chief Ag Trade Negotiator Optimistic on China Trade

Despite several conflicting statements between President Trump and several administration officials, the United State's chief agriculture trade negotiator, Gregg Doud, remains confident in the "Phase 1" trade deal with the U.S. and China, and he sees continued growth in agricultural exports through the remainder of the year. In addition, he's confident that the USMCA trade deal, which is soon expected to go fully into force, will offer new opportunities for U.S. grown commodities.
