Ted Schneider Elected to Serve as Chairman of the National Cotton Council

Ted Schneider, a cotton producer from Lake Providence, Louisiana, was elected National Cotton Council (NCC) chairman for 2022 during the organization’s annual meeting in Houston, Texas. Schneider farms ground in Louisiana and Arkansas. Prior to becoming chairman, Schneider served as vice chairman in 2020 and 2021, Schneider was a NCC director and has served on and led multiple NCC committees. He previously chaired the NCC’s Committee for the Advancement of Cotton (CAC) and currently chairs its Sustainability Task Force and Budget Committee.

Shawn Holladay, a producer from Lubbock, TX, was elected vice chairman for 2022.
