State's March Revenue Numbers Remain Strong

According to the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration, state tax collections in March continued to exceed estimates and show strong economic growth for Arkansas. After nine months into the fiscal year, net available revenue for Arkansas is 9.9% above forecast, individual income tax collections are 11.4% above forecast, corporate income tax collections are 15.9% above forecast, and sales tax collections are 4.8% above forecast. The latest report indicates the state is on track to finish the fiscal year at the end of June with another healthy surplus of revenues.
