On Monday, September 13th, the USDA National Agriculture Statistics Service (NASS) issued an updated Crop Progress and Condition Report. According to the report, in Arkansas 61 percent of corn is harvested, 33 percent of rice is harvested, 9 percent of soybeans are harvested, and 5 percent of peanuts are harvested. Cotton is 47 percent bolls opening. The crop continues to receive fair to excellent ratings for the most part.
