At a June 24th business meeting, the Senate Agriculture Committee advanced a bill by a voice vote to reauthorize the U.S. Grain Standards Reauthorization Act for the next five years. The bill currently enjoys wide support from agricultural groups who depend on the reauthorization to provide the structure for the grain inspection system.
