At the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) annual meeting held recently, Secretary Sonny Perdue spoke about agency priorities including additional coronavirus aid for farmers and aid for farmers dealing with natural disasters. The meeting, which was held in a virtual manner, is an opportunity for leaders of each state's department of agriculture to discuss issues of common concern and to discuss policy issues affecting states.
