Port of Little Rock Announces Infrastructure Upgrades

The Little Rock Port Authority, in partnership with federal, state and local officials, announced on June 6th, an $11 million in transportation infrastructure improvements planned for the industrial center. The Little Rock Port, which features rail, river, and interstate transportation systems, is the largest industrial hub in central Arkansas with over 40 businesses employing more than 4,000 people.

In addition to the infrastructure investment, the Port also announced that the new 825,000-SF Amazon fulfillment center (now under construction) will employ more than 1,000 new workers once complete.
