The ability to deliver this vaccine on a mass scale remains limited, and is expected to take several months before being universally available.
According to Pfizer, it projects plans to produce globally up to 50 million vaccine doses in 2020 and up to 1.3 billion doses in 2021. Distributing the vaccine will be a challenging undertaking as it must be kept at super-cold temperatures prior to human delivery.
