Saturday, November 20th is the opening day for duck season in Arkansas. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) will be implementing new green tree reservoir (GTR) management strategies this year on management areas, and they also are offering expanded opportunities for public hunting on private lands through its WRICE special permit program in partnership with voluntary private land partners. While conditions are dry throughout much of the state, weather conditions in recent weeks have provided opportunities for waterfowl to migrate to Arkansas.
