October 4th Crop Progress Report

On Monday, October 4th, USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) issued an updated Crop Progress and Condition Report. According to the report, Arkansas farmers have harvested 94 percent of corn, 7 percent of cotton, 33 percent of sobeans, 72 percent of rice, and 15 percent of peanuts. They've planted 10 percent of winter wheat. Crop conditions in Arkansas remain in solid condition for the most part with peanuts and cotton leading the way according to the report.
