October 18 Crop Progress and Condition Report

On Monday, October 18, the USDA National Agriculture Statistics Service (NASS) issued an updated crop progress report. According to the report, Arkansas farmers have harvested 99 percent of corn, 34 percent of cotton, 56 percent of soybeans, 89 percent of rice, and 34 percent of peanuts. They've planted 34 percent of winter wheat. Crop conditions in Arkansas remain in solid condition for the most part with peanuts and cotton leading the way according to the report.
