On Tuesday, October 13th, the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) issued a Crop Progress and Condition Report. According to the report, Arkansas farmers have harvested 94 percent of corn, 30 percent of cotton, 83 percent of rice, and 38 percent of soybean. Winter wheat was 20 percent planted. The crop condition seems to be in good shape this year as far as yield and quality goes.
