According to the USDA National Agriculture Statistics Service (NASS), Arkansas farmers are at the tail end of harvest with corn finished, 95 percent of rice harvested, 75 percent of cotton harvested, 67 percent of soybeans harvested and 61 percent of peanuts harvested. Winter wheat is estimated to be 59 percent planted. Favorable harvest weather is ahead according to forecasts.
