On Monday, after being confirmed by the United States Senate, Justice Amy Coney Barrett was sworn in as Supreme Court Justice at a ceremony at the White House. Justice Barrett was nominated by President Trump to fill a vacancy to the court, which became available following the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg who died in mid-September. Justice Barrett is the third Supreme Court appointment by President Trump.
