New Covid Aid Package in Works

A new $1.9 trillion Coronavirus aid and economic stimulus bill is beginning to take shape in Congress following the passage of a congressional budget resolution that makes room for a new spending bill that can be approved with a simple majority. This week House committees began working on various components of the relief package this week, and action before the House and Senate to take place in the coming weeks.

It's being reported that the spending bill will contain $16.1 billion made available to agriculture and food.
