New Bipartisan Climate Bill Introduced in Senate Puts USDA In Lead

A new bipartisan bill introduced in the U.S. Senate seeks to address climate issues by placing a high priority on putting USDA in the lead of supporting the development of incentives and marketplaces that support agricultural practices and land management decisions that play a key role in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and other climate risks. The legislation received a warm welcome from several agriculture and forestry groups across the country.
