National Cotton Council CEO Adams Joins Agri-Pulse "Open Mic" Program

Gary Adams, President and CEO of the National Cotton Council (NCC), recently joined Agri-Pulse for its "Open Mic" program to discuss the current market situation facing the U.S. cotton industry. Adams discussed the cotton futures market and the challenges facing the industry in areas of high input costs for producers and supply chain disruptions facing farmers and shippers. He also discussed concerns for regulations related to crop protection products and efforts by the cotton industry to promote the Cotton Trust Protocol, a producer driven sustainability initiatve for U.S. cotton producers to quantify progress in key areas of sustainability and to improve the marketability of U.S. cotton in the global market.

The NCC will hold its annual meeting in Houston February 11th-13th.
