This week was recognized as National Ag Day and Ag Week across the country as an opportunity for all citizens to celebrate and give thanks to agriculture. The annual event is aimed at reminding citizens of the importance of agriculture and food production and to give thanks to the farmers and ranchers who grow the food as well as the people and businesses that deliver the food to the people. The event is organized by the Agriculture Council of America.
