NASDA Winter Policy Conference Sets Common Policies for States

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) recently concluded its annual winter policy conference in Arlington, VA. At the conference, commissioners, secretaries and directors of agriculture from around the nation gathered with federal agencies, congressional leaders and industry stakeholders to talk about pressing agricultural and food policy issues. Included in their work was a list of top 10 priorities for the next farm bill. Arkansas Agriculture Secretary Wes Ward represented Arkansas at the meeting, and U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee ranking member Senator John Boozman (R-AR) addressed the conference.
