May 26 Crop Progress & Condition Report

On Tuesday, May 26th the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) issued an updated Crop Progress and Condition Report. For Arkansas, most crops remain behind the 5 year average with soybeans at 58 percent planted to date. Persistent rainfalls and high soil moisture levels continue to be the primary cause of any delays. More rain is in forecast with potential for additional flooding in certain areas.
