On Monday, May 23rd, USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) issued an updated Crop Progress and Condition Report for the 2022 crop. According to the report, Arkansas farmers continue to make progress with the planting of the 2022 crop thanks to improved weather conditions. The report indicated that most plantings are now caught up with the state's 5-year average, and the crops are in fair to excellent condition.
