On Monday, May 18th, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) issued an updated Crop Progress and Condition Report. According to the report, Arkansas farmers continued to make planting progress recently, but they remained behind schedule with cotton and soybeans, however, the planting is not as delayed as last year.
