June 27 Crop Progress & Condition Report

On Tuesday, June 27, USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service Issued an updated Crop Progress and Condition Report. The report showed the latest estimate for Arkansas indicated a slight slippage of crop condition due to lack of rainfall and excessive heat that has caused recent crop stress. The report showed corn at 58 percent silking, soybeans at 51 percent blooming, cotton at 51 percent squaring, peanuts at 11 percent pegging, and winter wheat at 85 percent harvested.
