June 21 Crop Progress & Condition Report

On Tuesday, June 21, USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service Issued an updated Crop Progress and Condition Report. The report showed the latest estimate for Arkansas indicated a slight slippage of crop condition due to lack of rainfall and excessive heat that has caused recent crop stress. The report showed corn at 34 percent silking, soybeans at 34 percent blooming, cotton at 26 percent squaring, peanuts at 2 percent pegging, and winter wheat at 71 percent harvested.
