July 25 Crop Progress and Condition Report

On Monday, July 25th, USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) issued an updated Crop Progress and Condition Report. The report for Arkansas indicated additional slippage of crop condition due to lack of rainfall and excessive heat that has caused recent crop stress. The report showed corn at 73 percent dough, 42 percent dented, and 6 percent mature; soybeans at 67 percent setting pods; cotton at 79 percent setting bolls; peanuts at 89 percent pegging; and rice at 19 percent headed.
