On July 1, the U.S. House of Representatives approved a comprehensive infrastructure bill (233-188) that would cover transportation infrastructure for all modes, water infrastructure, healthcare infrastructure, and broadband and energy infrastructure. The $1.5 trillion bill (H.R. 2) is a partisan approach from the Democratic majority, and it's not expected to get much momentum in the Senate as Republicans hold the majority in the U.S. Senate.
