On Tuesday, January 11th, Governor Asa Hutchinson introduced a proposed fiscal year 2023 budget to the Arkansas General Assembly at a joint budget committee. The roughly $6 billion budget provides a 3.3% boost to state funding, while maintaining an estimated surplus of $174 million and continued reductions in income taxes.
